I haven’t downloaded the DAB via iTunes for quite a while, and now I am having trouble viewing or accessing new podcasts. What should I do?
This may occur if you were subscribed to the Daily Audio Bible at one time and have not connected / updated your iTunes library in some time.
As with most other DAB-iTunes-troubleshooting issues, first try to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the podcast. That usually resolves the issue.
A possible fix is to rename or delete the iTunes Cache.
Go to your Music Folder where iTunes stores your podcasts. Typically this is in your "/ Music / iTunes" folder. If you do not know where this is located, you can open iTunes and check the advanced tab of the preferences menu.
Find the "PreviousiTunesLibraries" folder within your iTunes folder. This is where iTunes Cache is located. Change this folder’s name from "PreviousiTuensLibraries" to something like "PreviousiTunesLibraries_DELETED". By renaming the folder you are not actually deleting anything. After doing this, then opening and closing the iTunes application, you should be able to see the new, current podcasts.
Assuming this works, you can then consider deleting the newly renamed folder.
