WindFarm Prayer Requests

family losing their father to cancer
I have a prayer request for the James family, and their employees, who are like family. My husband works for a family owned/run business (he's one of the few non-family managers), and the patriarch of the family Bill (Pops) is succumbing to cancer after years of fighting it (he has only a few days left after DNR enacted today). Pray that they can all hold each other up in this painful time, and grow closer to God in their loss.

My own father (also called Bill) died of heart attack last week, and as we are pulling together as a family God is releasing His peace which passes all understanding over us, and an amazing amount of His joy as we share together, working through the practicalities and thanking God together for all my father was.

I will pray for the James family that God will meet them in the same way he is meeting us.

My father was a much loved man in his community and it sounds for your Pops had the same heart for loving and caring for people. One of truths God has reminded me of is that while all things pass away love remains and in that way my father is still very much with us as a family although he is no longer physically with us.

I will ask God to reveal His truth in a new way, to the whole of Pop's family to bring comfort to them and draw them closer to Him at this hard time.

He is our comforter and healer. Lord, provide the James family with your comfort and peace during this sad time. Lord I also ask that the binds that hold this family get tighter and stronger.

He passed on Friday, peacefully at home. The funeral is Tuesday. It will be a military burial, which is always beautiful. Love endures. Thanks, Stephen. Thanks to you all for your prayers.
