| Passing along a Prayer request | | Passing along a prayer request from Heather Sterling for our friend Lanny.
Friends.... I just got off of the phone with our Lanny R Carlson. His family has been going through a lot this past year with serious health issues, but last night his youngest daughter and son-in-law (Joy and Austin) were in an auto accident. " Joy suffered a fractured foot, but Austin was thrown from the vehicle and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. From there he was airlifted to Sioux Faalls - but he didn't make it! I don't know of a more perfect couple than Joy and Austin. Joy has had so many struggles in her life, but Austin was truly her soul mate, and his death has shattered her soul. We are devastated, too, and even more so because of what this is doing to Joy."
Lanny is strong in his trust in God, but I asked him if I could share this with you all. I think that the "prayer" here is to share this pain with the "body of Christ" which of course, is a great mystery.... Pray with what confidence you have in the great love and care of our Father for this family. Mostly listen to Father about the love that He has for these of His.... as Jesus suffers with them through these hard times, until the time that there will be beauty for ashes.
This breaks my heart.... but we wait for beauty....

| Dear Lord I pray with all confidence in Your great mercy for the Carlson family. Lord I believe You love us, provide for us and have a plan for our lives here on earth. Right now, Blessed Lord I pray for You to bring comfort to the Carlson's, hold them in your arms and give to them Your peace. In Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.

Comfort Lanny R Carlson family during this difficult time - especially for Joy. Pour them with your love and and strength in this journey. We worship you and we have faith in you - Amen.
